My obsession with photography as an artform began while I was in the Army in Vietnam.  You could say it was an eye-opening experience for me.  Forty years later, I'm still at it with no less fervor.
Over the years, I've worked as a professional for industry, government, and freelance.  But it was always just my pursuit of what I thought made a good photograph that appealed to me most.  I spent many hours in darkrooms with chemicals and safelights, and now I'm fully digital with ink toners and megapixels.
On occasion, I held exhibitions of my work and entered festivals.  I learned and became a professional framer.  In short, my commitment to my art was a passion that has sustained me and given me great satisfaction.
Most of the images displayed on this site are of New England, specifically the North Shore of Massaschusetts, where I lived for almost a quarter of a century.  A few are of Vermont from my infrequent visits.  There are also a few of my native area in the Pocono Mtns. of Northeast Pennsylvania.  And now there are images of Florida, where I recently moved to escape the bitter winters.
